Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to enrollment in the SHRM-CP & SHRM-SCP certification prep program offered by Herb Lee HR Academy LLC ("the Academy," "we," "us"). By registering and paying, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Independent program

Herb Lee HR Academy is an independent exam preparation program. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official partner of SHRM. SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP are certifications administered by SHRM.

2. Program

• 13-week live instruction via Zoom, beginning Saturday, January 23, 2027 (Saturdays, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM Central Time).
• New Student Orientation: Saturday, January 16, 2027, 10:00–11:30 AM Central Time, live via Zoom.
• Zoom and learning resource information is sent to enrolled students before orientation.

3. Tuition and payment

• Standard tuition is $999, paid in full at checkout, or in three interest-free payments of $333: the first at checkout, then 30 and 60 days later. Installment billing stops automatically after the third payment.
• A privately offered discount, when provided by the Academy, reduces tuition to $399 paid in full. It cannot be used with installments or combined with any other offer.
• SHRM exam application and testing fees are not included and are paid separately to SHRM.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Enrollment is confirmed only after successful payment.
• If an installment payment fails, the payment may be retried and we will contact you. Remaining installments stay due as described in Section 4.

4. Cancellation and refunds

• Full refund if you cancel before the program begins on January 23, 2027, or within 7 calendar days after the first live class. A timely cancellation refunds all payments collected and cancels any future installments.
• After that 7-day period, tuition is nonrefundable and all remaining installments are still due.
• To cancel, email info@herbleehracademy.com. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
• If the Academy cancels the program before it begins, you receive a full refund. If the Academy reschedules the program, you will be offered an appropriate option, such as joining the new dates or a refund.

5. Stay-Until-You-Pass support

If you complete the program and do not pass your exam, you may continue to receive individualized Zoom coaching by appointment until you pass. This support does not include enrollment in another full cohort, additional Pocket Prep licenses, or SHRM exam fees.

6. No guarantee of results

The Academy provides instruction and support but does not guarantee that you will pass any SHRM exam. Results depend on individual preparation and performance.

7. Course materials and recordings

• Course materials are for your personal, non-commercial use only. Do not copy, share, sell, or distribute them.
• Live sessions may be recorded and made available to enrolled students for review. Do not record, download, or share sessions except as the Academy allows.

8. Participation

Students are expected to participate respectfully and professionally. The Academy may remove a student who disrupts sessions or treats others disrespectfully.
